Appeal of the Director of the Institute of Geology and Geophysics named after H.M. Abdullayev on anti-corruption

Dear colleagues and partners! Today, in our country, the fight against corruption is recognized as one of the priority directions of state policy. Under the leadership of President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, important reforms are being consistently implemented aimed at preventing corruption, systematically combating it, and completely eliminating this iniquity that hinders the development of society.

The adoption of regulatory legal documents, state programs, as well as the implementation of the “Compliance Control” system have become significant steps in the field of anti-corruption efforts.

At the Institution Institute of Geology and Geophysics named after
H.M. Abdullayev comprehensive measures aimed at improving the anti-corruption system are also being gradually implemented. Specific mechanisms for identifying, assessing, and eliminating corruption risks have been introduced in the Institute’s activities. Training seminars, round table discussions, and awareness campaigns are regularly organized to prevent offenses and improve the legal awareness and culture of employees.

Certainly, corruption is not just a problem of one organization or sector, but a serious threat that disrupts the development of society as a whole. It can be overcome not only through legal means, but also through the conscientious attitude, honesty, and sense of responsibility of each employee.

In this regard, I would like to strongly emphasize to the staff of our institute: it is necessary to adhere strictly to the principle of zero tolerance for corruption, to refrain from any illegal actions, taking or giving bribes, and misuse of official position. Fulfill your official duties based on the principles of justice, impartiality, and integrity. Strictly follow the established internal rules for combating corruption.

If you have information about illegal actions in the institute’s activities, cases of corruption, or the involvement of employees in such misconduct, please send your report through the contact channels provided on the official pages. Each report will be considered in accordance with the procedure established by law, and strict measures will be taken regarding confirmed cases.

I urge all of you to ensure a healthy work environment in our institute and to be committed to the principles of honesty and justice. Each of us must contribute to building a corruption-free society.
