From May 29 to 31, 2025, the High-Level International Conference on Glacier Preservation is being held in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of staff from the Glacial Geology Center of the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics.
A meeting of the Uzbekistan Petrographic Council was held at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics, where participants discussed the legend of magmatic formations as part of the reference working legend for the updated 1:200,000 scale geological map of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The session focused on the classification of petrographic units, criteria for their representation on the map, and the scientific rationale behind these decisions. This effort aims to enhance the methodological accuracy and modern relevance of nationwide geological mapping.

The adoption of regulatory legal documents, state programs, as well as the implementation of the “Compliance Control” system have become significant steps in the field of anti-corruption efforts.

In this regard, I would like to strongly emphasize to the staff of our institute: it is necessary to adhere strictly to the principle of zero tolerance for corruption, to refrain from any illegal actions, taking or giving bribes, and misuse of official position.
