Researchers from the Petrology Laboratory of the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics are conducting geological fieldwork within the framework of the project titled “Fundamental principles for forecasting prospective areas of ore and non-ore mineral deposits.”
📌 Main objectives of the project:
– To conduct specialized geochemical studies within the Kosmanachi, Besapantov, Muruntau, Myutenbay, and Chuqurquduq deposits;
– To identify the patterns of horizontal (lateral) and vertical distribution of geochemical conditions within the ore cluster area;
– To study the mineralogical and petrographic characteristics of the ores and the surrounding host rocks.
