Scientists from the Ore Formation Processes Laboratory at the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, affiliated with the University of Geological Sciences, are conducting research on the Kizilmachit, Karasan, and Khodjabarku-Malyangur paleovulcanoes located in southern Uzbekistan.
The field work focuses on studying the formations of paleovulcanoes and the metallogenic potential of minerals found in the volcanic vents.
The research will determine the ore-forming processes in these areas, the impact of volcanic activity on metallogenesis, and the prospects of these processes in the context of future geological resources.
