A scientific seminar titled “Experimental Petrology and Geochemistry at DST-UniPi” was held at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics with the participation of Professor Matteo Masotta from the University of Pisa, Italy.
During the seminar, Professor Masotta provided detailed information on modern research in the fields of experimental petrology and geochemistry, laboratory-based experiments, and their significance in understanding geological processes. The participants gained valuable knowledge and experience regarding magmatic processes, the conditions of mineral formation, and methods of geochemical analysis.
