A Specialized Subject Examination Was Held at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics
At the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics, a specialized subject examination in the field of 04.00.03 “Geotectonics and Geodynamics. Petrology and Lithology” was conducted for PhD researchers. The examination aimed to assess the scientific preparedness of researchers and evaluate their fundamental knowledge and skills in their chosen field.
Today, at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics, the Glacial Geology Center hosted a ceremonial farewell for Anatoliy Alexandrovich Ni, a PhD in physics and mathematics, climatologist, glaciologist, and hydrologist, who has dedicated many years of service to the institute.
An article by Feruza Karimova, Head of the Petrology Laboratory at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, and Senior Researcher, titled “GEOLOGY OF UZBEKISTAN: TRADITIONS AND MODERN APPROACHES” has been published in the newspaper “ПРАВДА ВОСТОКА”
Today, an important meeting was held at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics. Our institute was honored to welcome representatives from the UNESCO Almaty Office – Dana Zhunissova and Diana Ariokhanova. Their visit took place within the framework of a project funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
A scientific seminar titled “Experimental Petrology and Geochemistry at DST-UniPi” was held at the H.M. Abdullayev Institute of Geology and Geophysics with the participation of Professor Matteo Masotta from the University of Pisa, Italy.
